Hi, I’m glad to greet you, I’m Yael Yancelson and it will be a pleasure to take this tour together with you, today we are going to make an incredible trip to distant lands full of glamour, we are going to Dubai —-So breathe, close your eyes, give me your hand and let yourself be guided, we begin.

Dubai is a city in the Southwest Asian emirate of the United Arab Emirates known for its luxurious shopping, ultramodern architecture, and lively nightlife.

Let’s take the fastest elevator in the world and go up to the iconic skyscraper Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, we reach the 125th floor and see the view from the balcony of the observation deck- it’s impressive, right? what do you feel, tell me…

The Burj Khalifa towers over Downtown Dubai at a staggering 829 meters.

There is much to learn about the architecture and technology behind this Middle Eastern icon.

It’s time to go on an adventure in the desert of Dubai. We will have a fun and different experience of driving among the reddish sand dunes and feel the hospitality of a Bedouin desert camp where we will spend the night and have dinner at the big campfire together with them.

What a quiet desert! But the truth is that I feel like taking this off-road vehicle and driving a quad through the dunes. How magical everything looks reddish in the Lahbab desert, do you want more adrenaline? let’s do sandboarding, which is like skiing but on sand instead of snow!!!

How wonderful to be in the Al Khayma camp where they give us exquisite Arabic coffee, sweets and dates. If you like, you can smoke a water pipe, get a henna tattoo or come to meet the falcon expert and his faithful bird of prey. And the traditional dance show begins on the central stage while we dine on a delicious and traditional barbecue.

Late at night, look at the sky- you have never seen so many stars as here in this clear and beautiful sky, how peaceful it feels!!!

I confess that I am amazed at the marine life of the Ambassador Lagoon in the Lost Chambers Aquarium inside the Atlantis the Palm hotel. So how about we stop at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah market, before going to the Jumeirah mosque.

Do you want to visit the Souk Al Bahar shopping center before going to the Dubai Mall? They say that it is well worth entering this luxurious place and doing it even if it is a quick window shopping.

One of the most emblematic places in Dubai is this dynamic museum of the future and it is interesting to see how each of its exhibitions explores how society could evolve in the following decades, there is an immersive theater that I am dying to know where they are addressed topics of ecology, climate change, health, space and much more- I have not seen more technology than this, you agree, how wonderful!

Let’s go up to this Ferris wheel in Ain Dubai located on Blue Waters Island and enjoy another great urban landscape. Did you see the LED screen at the base of the Ferris wheel? I am amazed by so much technology.

And now for the very, very adventurous, there is the ride on the Sky View cornice at the top of the Address hotel, 219.5 meters above sea level, do you dare? there is also a fun glass slide, amazing, I feel like a girl again!

We arrived at the Butterfly Garden (butterfly garden) in the Al Barsha area, a bright garden of rounded shapes designed in 3D and decorated with colorful flowers. Spanning some 1,800 square meters, the gardens can hold up to 300 visitors. Let’s go through the 9 domes together, each one full of butterflies of different colors, sizes, and species. We continue walking to the Miracle Garden, just 5 minutes from the Butterfly Garden, and see over 45 million plants in bloom, arranged in stunning patterns, interesting shapes, and structures. You see the longest wall of flowers in the world, according to the Guinness Book of Records. Here we will learn about the Miracle Garden’s renewable philosophy, which allows new designs and attractions to be introduced each season. It seemed like a unique place to me besides that it smells delicious, could you perceive the floral and fresh aroma?

Dubai is famous for its wealth, glamour, unique gigantic architecture, and shopping areas. However, it is also a utopia for a diner. It features a variety of cuisines from around the world. It’s easy to get lost in the variety on offer, but what you shouldn’t miss is traditional Emirati cuisine. Dubai is a place where you will find the opportunity to experience the authentic cuisine of the United Arab Emirates, giving you a taste of the local culture and lifestyle that is not found anywhere else in the world. Before moving on to the food, a small tradition of the Emirates is to serve coffee to their guests. They believe that it is auspicious to hold the coffee cup in your right palm and pour little coffee into the cup, without filling it to the brim, and serve it to the guests. When the guests finish their coffee, they shake their cups to indicate that they don’t want any more. Only after this is the food served. So we shake our cups and dive into the delicious food menu of the Emirates. We are offered The Machboos which is a traditional dish made with lamb or fish and rice seasoned with “loomi”. Loomi is a spice made from dried lime and crushed. For dessert we tried this delicacy called Luqaimat, it is sweet and salty with a crunchy outer layer and a soft interior, we savored it mmmm. The balls are dipped in a sweet date syrup known as “dipps” or simply soaked in honey. They remind me of donut centers, right?

If you like to cook, I think it’s time to prepare our ingredients to go to the kitchen and make a typical dish called KHUZI, click on the button, or if you prefer, keep traveling.

And that is how we leave this beautiful and interesting region of the planet with the desire to return.
