POUTINE: TRADITIONAL DISH IN QUEBEC

INSTRUCTIONS:
The locals have agreed that the first place for typical Canadian food is Poutine, which is a mix of French fries, grain cheese and gravy. Its creation was in the province of Quebec, and it has been present in the country since 1950, the dish also presents variations of flavors and has vegetarian options.
Another is the Cipaille or “sea-pie” – it is a dish of Quebec cuisine. It has its origins in the long voyages from England and consists of a meat pie that combines beef, pork, turkey and chicken in a finely decorated cinnamon paste. It sounds very interesting.
And with this in mind and recipe ready if you are interested in cooking, let’s go step by step
Well, they have taught us to prepare the famous Poutine so let’s put on the apron, have your utensils ready, always accompanied by music to enjoy the cooking and here are our ingredients.

Ingredients:
1 kilo of potatoes
2 tablespoons of wheat flour
1/2 kilo of mozzarella cheese or cottage cheese
2 butter spoons
Salt
2 cups of beef broth
Pepper
For its preparation we are going to make the gravy, in a pan, combine the flour and butter. Mix and cook over medium heat for about 12 minutes until it reaches a light brown color.
Add the broth and season with salt and pepper.Bring to a boil and lower the heat, cook for 15 more minutes.
Separately, fry the potatoes (which should already be cut into julienne strips) until they are well browned. Remove excess oil.
Take the potatoes to the plate, place the chopped cheese on them and cover with abundant gravy on top.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
It has a very special flavor and texture because it combines the crunchiness of the fried potato with the silkiness of the sauce we made, so it seems to me that between this rich buttery smell is a pleasant dish we can share with family and friends.
I was already very hungry, weren’t you? What did you think of the taste of the dish? Tell me what it smells like, what it tastes like?
